Local Law Enforcement Academies
MTC Law Enforcement Academy
The purpose of the Manatee Technical College Florida Law Enforcement Academy is to prepare students for employment or advanced training as Law Enforcement Officers in the State of Florida. The Academy is approved by the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE).
SCT Law Enforcement Academy
The SCJA at Suncoast offers the Basic Law Enforcement Officer Recruit Certification Program. Our program prepares students for employment as entry-level law enforcement officers and meets the requirements of the FL Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission (CJSTC). Students may be sponsored by an employing agency or apply for direct admission.
SPC Law Enforcement Academy
The Law Enforcement Academy gives you the training you need to pass the Florida Department of Law Enforcement State Officer Certification Examination and become a police officer. SPC’s Southeastern Public Safety Institute is an approved FDLE training center and uses the curriculum of the Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission (CJSTC).
